Is your mouth watering? I know mine was when I was editing these images! My roomie Alissa makes smoothies almost every morning and smoothie bowls when she's not rushing out the door to class. We finally set a time today where we made them together and had a blast. There are endless combinations and toppings, so you can really never go wrong! It's safe to say these have replaced milk and cereal... this is a much more fun way to get nutrients inside your body and sneak in a little spinach too! ;)
This coming week is the dreaded FINALS week so this is our way of procrastinating studying... We made brain food!
More or less we eye the proportions of everything, just add what feels good to you!
First Smoothie (Alissa's)
◦ 1/2 frozen banana
◦ 3 chopped frozen strawberries
◦ 1/4 cup (or as much as you want!) spinach
◦ 1 dollop two different kinds of yogurt
◦ 1/3 Capri Sun
Second Smoothie (Mine)
◦ 1/2 frozen banana
◦ 3 chopped frozen strawberries
◦ 1/4 cup spinach
◦ 1 TBS peanut butter
◦ 1/4 cup Rice Milk
Toppings
◦ Bananas
◦ Strawberries
◦ Raspberries
◦ Coconut Flakes
◦ Your choice of granola or cereal
◦ Chocolate chips
◦ Dried cranberries
◦ Walnuts
◦ Clementine
