Breakfast in a Cantaloupe




When it's sunny in Seattle, EVERYONE goes outside, is wearing colorful clothing, and walk around with smiles on their faces.

Without classes on Tuesday and Thursday, Alissa and I have been able to take advantage of our time and do some things for ourselves in the mornings. It's important to practice self-care!

So originally we thought coconuts, but living in a dorm suggests that cutting a cantaloupe to be used as a bowl would be much more attainable. Don't get me wrong, we do have two coconuts sitting in our room, but we're not quite sure how we're going to open them...

Anyways, why not eat out of a natural bowl?! And then you get to scrape the sides down after you finish the smoothie goodness inside, so win win, you just get to eat so much fruit! I'm talkin' about a natural sugar high! ;)

We mixed SPINACH, BLUEBERRIES, RASPBERRIES, BANANA, and COCONUT MILK as the base then added more berries, coconut flakes, and some granola to top!

Easy peasy, lemon squeezy.
