The aim is to attract clients who share creative ideas and high-end interior design taste! I think we did just that. Meet Melanie and Whitney, the creative moms behind Smörgåsbord, a vintage shop and interior design studio located downtown Eastsound on Orcas Island. We walked down to the beach, the heart of the horseshoe-shaped island with their daughters in tow, and made these images that showcase the beauty and magic of this special place.

Inside the Yoga House

I've had the pleasure to work with Jen Breen of Bainbridge Yoga House. Jen's passion for yoga and her dedication to creating a welcoming and inclusive community at the Yoga House is truly inspiring. 

Her description of a yoga class as "the communal effervescence" perfectly captures the energy and connection that is created when people come together to practice. Jen and I worked to capture the authentic spirit of the yoga house and the community that makes it so special. We focused on the little details, like the way the light falls through the windows and the natural beauty of the studio's surroundings, as well as the larger moments of community and connection that happen during class.

Whether you are a seasoned yogi or just starting out, you will find a welcoming and supportive community and a beautiful craftsman studio to practice in at the Yoga House.
